Inca Trail permits are limited and sell out months in advance, especially from May to August. Book early to secure your preferred date.

How fit do I need to be for an adventure tour?

It depends on the itinerary. Day hikes need moderate fitness, while multi-day treks such as the Inca Trail or Salkantay need good fitness and some hiking experience.

When should I book the Inca Trail?

As early as possible. Permits are limited per day and often sell out months ahead for May to August. The trail closes every February for maintenance.

Is altitude sickness a risk on treks?

Yes. Our itineraries include acclimatization days before high treks. Drink water, ascend gradually and consult your doctor before travel.

What equipment do I need?

Good hiking boots, layers for cold mornings, rain gear and sun protection. Camping gear is provided on camping treks; check each itinerary for details.

Yes. Every adventure tour can run privately, with your own guide and the flexibility to adjust trek lengths and activities.
