The Inca Empire, the largest in pre-Columbian America, whose capital was Cusco. You visit the Koricancha, Sacsayhuamán and other Inca sites around the city and the royal estate of Machu Picchu.
No — it is a land-based program on Santa Cruz Island. If you would like to see more islands, we can replace it with a 4- or 5-day Galápagos cruise on request.
By a short flight over the Andes; depending on the day, it may be direct or connect via Lima. We confirm the best option when we quote your flights.
On top of the package, Ecuador charges every visitor two Galápagos fees: the Transit Control Card (TCT), purchased at Quito or Guayaquil airport before check-in, and the National Park entrance fee, paid in cash when you land. At present they are US$20 and US$200 per foreign adult, but the authorities can change them at any time — check before you fly.
Most travelers from the Americas and Europe can visit Peru and Ecuador without a tourist visa. Bolivia is different: depending on your nationality you may need a visa, obtained in advance or sometimes on arrival. Check the current rules for your passport, valid for at least six months, before booking.
Yes. It works for solo travelers, couples, families and groups of friends. You travel with your own guides and transfers, so the pace adapts to you; solo travelers pay a single-room supplement, and groups of four or more get better rates per person.
The per-person price depends on your hotel category, from Essential 2★ to Deluxe 5★, and on group size — see the Rates tab. Flights, the Galápagos National Park fee and the Transit Control Card are quoted or paid separately.
