Andean Destinations is a two-week grand tour of the high Andes of three countries. In Peru you explore Cusco, hike to Rainbow Mountain and travel through the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu. In Bolivia you sail on Lake Titicaca, cross to La Paz and spend three days on the salt flats and lagoons of Uyuni. In Chile you descend into the Atacama Desert for a full day of lagoons, flamingos and the Valley of the Moon, before flying to Santiago. It is the most compact way to see the great destinations of the Andes in one trip.

It is a complete South America tour package — hotels, transfers, guides, trains, flights coordination and excursions are all planned — but it runs as a tailor-made trip: you choose the date, the hotel category and the group size, and any day can be adjusted. Departures are daily, all year.
Cusco, Rainbow Mountain, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in Peru; Lake Titicaca, La Paz and the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia; and San Pedro de Atacama and Santiago in Chile.
Puno to La Paz is about 6–7 hours by tourist bus including the border; the Uyuni expedition’s last day crosses into Chile and reaches San Pedro de Atacama in the afternoon. The other connections are short flights.
It comes on day 4, your second day in Cusco, and reaches more than 5,000 m. If you are sensitive to altitude, we recommend moving it after Machu Picchu or replacing it with a gentler excursion.
On the last morning of the 4x4 crossing you reach Hito Cajón (approx. 4,500 m), stamp out of Bolivia and into Chile, and drive down to San Pedro de Atacama (approx. 2,400 m) in about an hour. Chile’s agricultural inspection is strict: no fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, seeds or honey — eat or discard them before the border and declare anything you are not sure about.
Bring a mix of payment options: soles (PEN) in Peru, bolivianos (BOB) in Bolivia and Chilean pesos (CLP) in Chile. US dollars are accepted for many tourist services and cards work in the cities, but cash is essential on the Altiplano, where there are no ATMs.
Yes. It works for solo travelers, couples, families and groups of friends. You travel with your own guides and transfers, so the pace adapts to you; solo travelers pay a single-room supplement, and groups of four or more get better rates per person.
It depends on the hotel level you pick — Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★ — and how many people travel together. The Rates tab shows the current per-person price sharing a double or twin; domestic and international flights are quoted apart.
