9-Day Private Peru: Inca Heartland: Your Questions

What's included in this 9-day private Peru tour?

It includes 8 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, guided tours of Lima and Cusco, a Sacred Valley tour with an overnight stay, panoramic trains and a guided visit to Machu Picchu with all entrance fees.

Can I personalize this 9-day private tour?

Yes. Choose your dates, hotel category and pace, add nights, upgrade the train or include extra experiences. Share your wishes in the request form.

Is 9 days enough for Cusco and Machu Picchu?

Yes. Nine days give you a full day in Lima, a relaxed arrival and a city tour in Cusco, a night in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu without rushing, plus a final day in Lima before your flight home.

When should I travel on this 9-day itinerary?

April to November is the dry season in Cusco and Machu Picchu, and Lima is pleasant all year.

How do I manage the altitude on this route?

You fly from Lima directly to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m), so the rest of that day is free to rest and acclimatize. The Sacred Valley (approx. 2,800 m) and Machu Picchu (approx. 2,430 m) are both lower than Cusco. Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol on the first evening and ask your doctor before you travel if you have a medical condition.

How much does the 9-day private Peru tour cost?

The price per person varies with the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the size of your group. Check the Rates tab for current prices per person in a double or twin room.
