8-Day Peru with Friends: Nazca to the Sun Gate: Questions Answered

What's included in this 8-day Peru trip with friends?

It includes 7 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, a guided Lima tour, the Ballestas Islands, a night in Huacachina, a Nazca Lines overflight, panoramic trains and a private guided visit to Machu Picchu.

Can we add activities for our friends group?

Yes. We can add a pisco tasting, a cooking class, a night out in Barranco or extra adventure activities, and arrange rooms for your group.

Can I combine the Nazca Lines and Machu Picchu in 8 days?

Yes. The first four days cover Lima, the Ballestas Islands, Huacachina and the Nazca Lines, and the second half is dedicated to Cusco and Machu Picchu, with a morning flight home on day 8.

When is the ideal time for this 8-day trip?

The coast is pleasant all year, and April to November is the dry season at Machu Picchu.

What should I know about the altitude?

The coast is at sea level, so the altitude only begins when you fly to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m), where the afternoon is free to rest. The next day you descend to Machu Picchu (approx. 2,430 m). Drink plenty of water and check with your doctor if you have a medical condition.

How much does the 8-day Peru trip with friends cost?

Your price depends on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers. See the Rates tab for current prices per person in a double or twin room.
