8-Day Peru for Two: Rainbow & Titicaca: Questions Answered

What's included in this 8-day Peru tour for couples?

It includes 7 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, a full-day Rainbow Mountain trek, panoramic trains, a private guided visit to Machu Picchu, the Route of the Sun with lunch and a full-day Lake Titicaca tour.

Is this 8-day trip a good honeymoon option?

Yes. Choose the Superior or Deluxe hotel category and we can add romantic extras on request, such as a private dinner, a room upgrade or flowers in your room.

Can I see Rainbow Mountain, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca in 8 days?

Yes. You fly to Cusco on day 2, trek to Rainbow Mountain on day 3, visit Machu Picchu on days 4 and 5, travel the Route of the Sun to Puno and explore Lake Titicaca, then fly home from Juliaca via Lima on day 8.

When is the ideal time for this 8-day trip?

April to November is the dry season, with the clearest views of Rainbow Mountain and sunny days on Lake Titicaca.

What should I know about the altitude?

Rainbow Mountain (over 5,000 m) comes the day after you arrive in Cusco (approx. 3,400 m), which is very demanding for the body. We strongly recommend adding an extra night in Cusco before the trek, or swapping the order so the hike comes after Machu Picchu. Drink plenty of water, rest well and consult your doctor before you travel.

How much does the 8-day Peru tour for couples cost?

Your price depends on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers. See the Rates tab for current prices per person in a double or twin room.
