7-Day Peru at Ease: Nazca to the Lost City: Frequently Asked Questions

What does this one-week Peru tour for seniors include?

It includes 6 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, the Ballestas Islands, a visit to the Huacachina Oasis, a night in Nazca, the Nazca Lines overflight, panoramic trains and a private guided visit to Machu Picchu.

Is the pace of this one-week tour comfortable for seniors?

Organized transfers, panoramic trains and guided visits keep each day easy. There are no long hikes, and the coast comes first at sea level before you fly to Cusco.

Why spend a night in Nazca?

Sleeping in Nazca means you can take an early flight over the Nazca Lines, when the air is calmest and the light is best, instead of driving several hours before dawn. It makes the flight more comfortable and the day more relaxed.

When is the best time for this one-week trip?

The coast is dry all year, and April to November is the dry season at Machu Picchu.

How can I prepare for the altitude in one week?

The coast is at sea level, so the altitude begins only when you fly to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m) on day 4, with the rest of the day free. The next day you descend to Machu Picchu (approx. 2,430 m). Drink plenty of water and check with your doctor if you have a medical condition.

What is the price of the 7-day Peru tour for seniors?

The price of this one-week tour depends on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers. Current prices per person in a double or twin room are shown in the Rates tab.
