Nazca to the Lost City: Luxury Tour FAQ

What is included in this 7-day luxury Peru tour?

It includes 6 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, the Ballestas Islands, a visit to the Huacachina Oasis, a night in Nazca, the Nazca Lines overflight, panoramic trains and a private guided visit to Machu Picchu.

What makes this one-week Peru tour a luxury experience?

With the Deluxe 5★ category you stay in Peru’s finest luxury and boutique hotels; Superior 4★ offers premium comfort. Every service is private, from guides and transfers to panoramic trains, and we can add VIP extras such as the luxury Hiram Bingham train, suites, spa treatments or a private dinner.

Why spend a night in Nazca?

Sleeping in Nazca means you can take an early flight over the Nazca Lines, when the air is calmest and the light is best, instead of driving several hours before dawn. It makes the flight more comfortable and the day more relaxed.

How does this tour handle the altitude?

The coast is at sea level, so the altitude begins only when you fly to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m) on day 4, with the rest of the day free. The next day you descend to Machu Picchu (approx. 2,430 m). Drink plenty of water and check with your doctor if you have a medical condition.

When is the best time for this one-week tour?

The coast is dry all year, and April to November is the dry season at Machu Picchu. June to August is the busiest period, so book train seats and luxury hotels early.

How much does this 7-day luxury Peru tour cost?

The price of this one-week tour depends on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers. For a truly luxurious week, choose Superior or Deluxe. Current prices per person in a double or twin room are shown in the Rates tab.
