6-Day Peru with Friends: Cusco & Ollantaytambo: Traveler FAQ

What is included in the 6-day Peru trip with friends?

It includes 5 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, a private Cusco tour, a VIP Sacred Valley day at Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo with gourmet lunch, panoramic trains and a private guided visit to Machu Picchu.

Can we add activities for our group of friends?

Yes. We can add a pisco tasting, a cooking class, a night out in Cusco or extra adventure activities, and arrange rooms for your group.

Is the Cusco tour on arrival day too tiring?

The city tour starts in the afternoon at a gentle pace, after time to rest at your hotel. If you prefer, we can move it to another day or replace it with a free afternoon to acclimatize.

What is the best season for this 6-day trip?

April to November is the dry season; the Maras salt pans look their best from May to October.

How do I prepare for the altitude on this trip?

You fly from Lima to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m). The Sacred Valley (approx. 2,800 m) and Machu Picchu (approx. 2,430 m) are both lower than Cusco, which makes this short luxury trip comfortable. Rest on arrival, drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol on the first evening and ask your doctor before you travel if you have a medical condition.

How much is the 6-day Peru trip with friends?

The price of this 6-day tour depends on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers. The Rates tab shows the current price per person in a double or twin room.
