Day 1
Your private guide picks you up at your hotel in Cusco to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas: the colorful market and terraces of Pisac, lunch in the valley and the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo beneath its temple fortress. In the late afternoon, board the panoramic train along the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes, at the foot of Machu Picchu, for the night.
Day 2
Take an early shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu and discover the Inca citadel with your private guide: the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana stone and the agricultural terraces, framed by Huayna Picchu and the Urubamba canyon. After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes and board the panoramic train back to Cusco, where your driver takes you to your hotel or the airport. End of services.

Aguas Calientes (approx. 2,040 m) and Machu Picchu (approx. 2,430 m) are lower than Cusco (approx. 3,400 m), so the tour itself is gentle on the body. We recommend spending at least one night in Cusco before the tour to acclimatize; drink plenty of water and consult your doctor before you travel if you have a medical condition.
You visit Pisac, with its colorful artisan market and spectacular Inca terraces, and Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town with original streets and water channels below a massive temple fortress, with lunch in the valley.
The price of this 2-day tour depends on the hotel category in Aguas Calientes (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers.
