13-Day Peru at Ease: The Grand Panorama: Your Questions Answered

What is included in this 13-day Peru tour for seniors?

It includes 10 hotel nights in your chosen category and 2 nights at Eco Amazonia Lodge, private transfers, guided tours of Lima and Cusco, Rainbow Mountain, the Sacred Valley, panoramic trains, a guided visit to Machu Picchu and a Tambopata program with meals and excursions.

Is the pace of this tour comfortable for seniors?

Yes. Organized transfers, panoramic trains and guided visits keep every day comfortable. There is a free day in Cusco, Rainbow Mountain is optional and the jungle walks are short and flat.

Where do we stay in the Tambopata rainforest?

You stay two nights at Eco Amazonia Lodge on the Madre de Dios River, reached by boat from Puerto Maldonado. Excursions include Monkey Island, caiman spotting, Lake Sandoval and the lodge’s canopy lookout tower.

When is the best season for this 13-day trip?

The trip works all year. April to November is the dry season in Cusco and Tambopata, with easier trails, while December to March brings greener landscapes and more rain.

What should I know about the altitude on this route?

You fly directly from Lima to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m), so the first day is planned at a gentle pace. Rainbow Mountain reaches more than 5,000 m: if you prefer more time to acclimatize, we can move it later in the trip or replace it with a relaxed day in the Sacred Valley. Drink plenty of water, avoid heavy meals on arrival and ask your doctor before you travel if you have a medical condition.

What is the price of the 13-day Peru tour for seniors?

Rates depend on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers. The Rates tab shows the current price per person in a double or twin room.
