13-Day Peru for Two: Andes to Pacific: Your Questions Answered

What is included in this 13-day Peru tour for couples?

It includes 12 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, a guided Lima tour, a seaside night in Paracas, the Ballestas Islands, a night at Huacachina, a Nazca Lines overflight, a guided Cusco tour, Rainbow Mountain, the Sacred Valley, panoramic trains, Machu Picchu, the Route of the Sun and Lake Titicaca.

Is this 13-day tour a good choice for a honeymoon?

Yes. It is a favorite route for honeymoons and anniversaries. Choose the Superior or Deluxe hotel category and we can add romantic touches on request, such as a private dinner, a room upgrade or a special celebration.

Is Paracas a good place for a luxury stay?

Yes. The bay of Paracas has some of Peru’s finest seaside resorts, with pools, spas and terraces facing the Pacific, and it is the departure point for the Ballestas Islands boat tour.

When is the best season for this 13-day trip?

April to November is the dry season in Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca. The coast is sunniest from December to April.

What should I know about the altitude on this route?

You fly directly from Lima to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m), so the first day is planned at a gentle pace. Rainbow Mountain reaches more than 5,000 m: if you prefer more time to acclimatize, we can move it later in the trip or replace it with a relaxed day in the Sacred Valley. Drink plenty of water, avoid heavy meals on arrival and ask your doctor before you travel if you have a medical condition.

What is the price of the 13-day Peru tour for couples?

Rates depend on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers. The Rates tab shows the current price per person in a double or twin room.
