11-Day Private Peru: Titicaca & Sun Gate: Questions & Answers

What is included in the 11-day private Peru tour?

It includes 10 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, a guided Lima tour, the Ballestas Islands, a night in Huacachina, a Nazca Lines overflight, a private Cusco tour, the Sacred Valley, panoramic trains, Machu Picchu, the Route of the Sun and Lake Titicaca.

Can I adjust this private 11-day journey?

Yes. Private departures run every day of the year, and you can add nights, choose your hotel category, upgrade trains or add experiences. Send us your wishes through the request form.

Is the Nazca Lines flight worth it?

Yes. The 30-minute flight is the only way to see the giant hummingbird, monkey and spider geoglyphs as they were meant to be seen. Flights depend on the weather and the small planes can feel bumpy, so we recommend a light breakfast.

When is the best season for this 11-day itinerary?

April to November is the dry season in Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca, and the coast is pleasant all year.

What do I need to know about altitude on this trip?

You fly from Lima directly to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m), so the first day is planned at an easy pace. Drink plenty of water, avoid heavy meals and alcohol on arrival and try a coca tea. If you have a medical condition, check with your doctor before you travel. Machu Picchu is lower than Cusco, and Lake Titicaca (approx. 3,830 m) comes at the end, once you are acclimatized.

What does the 11-day private Peru tour cost?

The price per person depends on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and the number of travelers. Current rates per person in a double or twin room are listed in the Rates tab.
