Can we personalize this trip for our group of friends?

Yes. We can add a pisco tasting, a cooking class, a night out in Barranco or extra adventure activities, and arrange rooms for your group.

What is the Amazon River experience like from Iquitos?

Iquitos is the largest city in the world that cannot be reached by road. From there you travel by boat to a jungle lodge to spot pink river dolphins, monkeys, sloths and birds, see the giant Victoria water lilies and walk through the rainforest with a naturalist guide.

When is the best season for this 11-day itinerary?

The trip works all year. April to November is the dry season in Cusco, while from December to May the Amazon River is higher and easier to explore by boat.

After the flight to Cusco (approx. 3,400 m) you rest for the afternoon, then descend to the Sacred Valley (approx. 2,800 m) and Machu Picchu (approx. 2,430 m), both lower than Cusco.
