10-Day Peru with Friends: Nazca to Titicaca: FAQ

What does the 10-day Peru trip with friends include?

It includes 9 nights in your chosen hotel category with breakfast, private transfers, the Ballestas Islands, a night in Huacachina, a Nazca Lines overflight, panoramic trains, a guided visit to Machu Picchu, the Route of the Sun and Lake Titicaca.

Can we customize this 10-day trip for our friends?

Yes. We can add a pisco tasting, a cooking class, a night out in Barranco or extra adventure activities, and arrange rooms to suit your group.

Are the Uros floating islands worth visiting?

Yes. The Uros people build their islands, homes and boats from totora reeds, renewing them constantly. A visit shows a way of life unique in the world, and the boat trip continues to Taquile Island for lunch.

What is the best time of year for this 10-day route?

April to November is the dry season in Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca, and the coast is pleasant all year.

How should I prepare for the altitude?

You arrive in Cusco (approx. 3,400 m) and then visit Machu Picchu, which is lower. Lake Titicaca (approx. 3,830 m) comes at the end, when you are already acclimatized. Drink plenty of water, avoid heavy meals on arrival and check with your doctor if you have a medical condition.

What is the cost of the 10-day Peru trip with friends?

Prices depend on the hotel category (Essential 2★, Comfort 3★, Superior 4★ or Deluxe 5★) and on how many people travel together. You will find the current price per person in a double or twin room in the Rates tab.
